Eureka Copper Canyon 6-Person Tent Review

Eat, Sleep in Comfort with the Eureka Copper Canyon Review

For the family looking to begin camping, the Eureka Copper Canyon 6-person tent provides space and comfort for up to six people.

The Copper Canyon has two rooms, one of which can be used as a living area while the other serves as a screened dining area. At night, the children can sleep in one room while the adults stay up in the other.

There is a door for each section, as well as one between the two rooms. Tall campers will appreciate the almost completely vertical walls and high ceilings that allow them to stand upright.

The company’s Storm Shield technology uses moisture-repelling materials that are also tough enough to resist wear and tear. Each room has multiple skylights for stargazing at night or reading during the day. The combined fiberglass and steel frame results in easy setup, yet it will still stand up to storms.

Eureka Copper Canyon Review: What do they say?

There are a number of online reviews from those that have used the Eureka Copper Canyon and they indicate that the tent is well-constructed and spacious.

The attached screen room allows meals to be eaten without worry of insects. One user wrote they used a queen sized air mattress and a twin in the sleeping quarters, with room left over to walk around and for luggage.

While the screen room has no floor, some noted a tarp and some inexpensive carpeting could be used to convert it into another sleeping area if necessary.

Others appreciated being able to enter either room through its own door, or being able to pass from one to the other through a third portal.

Set up seems to be no problem, with several reviewers commenting that the instructions are easy to follow and well written. One parent pointed out his 9-year-old son was able to read the directions to him for setup and everything is color coded.

The tent also seems to hold up well in the elements. Most reviewers who experienced rains storms with the this tent reported it held up very well. The only negative comment was that the rainfly seemed to collect water and someone periodically may have to dump the small pools of water.

Based on the above findings, the Eureka Copper Canyon 6-person tent gets a thumbs up, especially for families. It provides a sleeping area and a screened dining section all in one shelter, enables campers to move around freely inside and stands up to Mother Nature, all while remaining easy to erect.
